Afternoon Flight

I absolutely adore skies and flight in general.

Throughout the process of painting this, the color temperature was quite cold. It wasn't until the end that I decided on warmer tones.

There was a white, bright cloud bank layer that was located under Rainbow Dash, but she stood out much better against the darker and stormier base of the background cloud bank. I wound up flipping it and moving it up into the corner behind Fluttershy.

Also, I think I prefer softer eye highlights.
