I dunno, I figure pegasi would do this sort of thing. I'm not sure Fluttershy enjoys flight in this form either.

The glider is vaguely based off a Discus, but I sort of freehanded it.

Done completely in Paint Tool SAI.

Both of my parents are professional pilots. I liked flying (and got to do it a whole lot), although I wasn't interested in pursuing any sort of career with it. If I do bother to own an aircraft, it'll certainly be a glider.
