Generally, I do art on my own, and art stuff for indie game production for a living. The balance between the two tends to sway year by year.
General aviation, while the defining activity of my family and history, has been less a part of my life recently. I do plan on returning, though possibly in the main form of gliding. (It's extremely peaceful.)
For gaming, I tend to like simmy stuff like DCS, FSX, X-Plane 10, the ArmA series (since it was OFP in 2001), and more recently, Elite: Dangerous.
I'm starting a rather involved 3D modeling project which will last until around spring. Between that and the holidays, and some other commitments (some critical to finances), I'm going to have substantially less time for painting for a few months.
Last November, I made it a rule for myself to create at least one picture every two weeks for a full year. I've managed to do this in spite of needing to juggle my time around in some instances. As my free time will be substantially less in the coming months, I'm freeing myself from this rule, but at the same time I don't like the idea of producing nothing here for long stretches of time.
