Firefighters

This picture probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Even though I realized this early, I kept going with it because it had a bizarre sort of surreal thing going. I've had nightmares which looked sort of like this (and even had one the other night because of this picture).

The same group capability to deliver water to Cloudsdale can be used to fight fires. To the left is a lake, to the right and in the background is a massive forest fire. Water spouts are spun up, directed over the fires, and dropped. The little sunlit specks in the distance are pegasi working on the twisters.

In spite of the darkness, this is actually quite a sunny day. Clean sunlight is filtering down through the clouds from the top left.

Utilizing weather to fight fires is sort of thing Pyre enjoys doing (as indicated by the cuteymark of a raincloud over a fire), although usually this happens on a much smaller scale. Whatever's happening here is borderline apocalyptic.
